When a fire occurs, the crucial first step of the appraisal investigation is to define the fire’s origin and cause.
Our expert fire investigators, trained in using the methods set out in NFPA 921, step in to define the origin of the incident by analysing the evidence left by the fire and by using specific tools (accelerant detector, sampling kit, thermal camera, drone, etc.). They may also further their investigations in the GM Consultant laboratory, employing appropriate analytical techniques (X-rays, MBE, etc.) or simulating ways the fire could have started in order to arrive at an accurate explanation.
Our loss adjusters work quickly and efficiently, in the scope of damage coverage or public liability coverage, on behalf of all the stakeholders: insurers, manufacturers, service providers, etc.
