GM Consultant sets up in Africa
Our company has been established internationally since 2013 and today boasts 28 offices across three continents. The two newest sites in Africa strengthen our presence in the management of industrial risks in a booming market which is becoming increasingly secured.
Why set up in Africa?
This expansion fulfils a desire to accompany our clients on this continent with two initial sites in Algeria and Senegal. Africa is a lead market due to the sizable number of industrial projects currently underway. For instance, there are close to 300 major construction, public works and infrastructure projects currently in progress on the African continent. Nevertheless, it is a complex territory which requires impeccable knowledge of the market and local stakeholders.
A team dedicated to the African continent.
Nicolas Mayet and Stéphane Corso, both specialists in Africa and industry, have been trained in our damage survey methods and will head up a team of six loss adjusters on site. They will primarily be involved in sectors such as oil and gas, infrastructure, mining, banking and finance, and those incorporating the food industry and heavy industry. Each is armed with impeccable knowledge of the region and African culture.
Our technical expertise, knowledge of the sector and project mode claims processing, are the three foundations that guarantee the quality of our vision of damage surveying. The team’s goal is to guarantee customised support in claim management and the management of industrial risks for both large-scale French groups active on the continent and locally-based businesses in kind. Our presence on this continent also allows us to educate businesses hoping to establish sites in Africa about the risks specific to this region of the world.
