An energy production system had failed to reach the energy recovery objectives

A policyholder was responsible for the delegated operation of an energy production system belonging to a local authority, but had failed to reach the energy recovery objectives.

The local authority blamed the equipment design and manufacture but did not rule out the operation of the system.

The court-appointed expert held performance tests, and verified the equipment’s dimensions and operational quality.

For this case, GM Consultant was asked to verify that all the elements making it possible to establish an exhaustive and accurate root cause had been taken into account before determining conclusions.

The analysis is based on verifying the data taken into account at the pre-project phase for the feasibility study, then for the dimensioning of the equipment.

The process is continuing with the analysis of the performance tests and inspection of the equipment manufactured.
