Consumer goods

Capital and consumer goods are found in both homes and businesses. Indeed, the abundance of consumer goods as well as their decreasing costs are increasing their presence in our daily lives. Products from countries where manufacturing costs are low are sometimes associated with poor quality and breakdowns, despite the existence of international standards. Incidents can have dramatic consequences, e.g., fire or bodily injury.

In these difficult situations, it is essential to act quickly and have the refined technical and legal expertise needed to identify the cause of the incident and to detect possible serial incidents that both strongly impact upon a manufacturer’s reputation as well as to endanger its consumers.

Assisting companies with organising product recall campaigns is therefore crucial. Individuals, companies and their insurers can count on our expert loss assessors in France, the rest of Europe, Asia and the United States to respond effectively to local incidents, and to help plan for international recourse, if necessary.
