Automotive Industry

Since their invention over a hundred years ago, motor vehicles have undergone constant technological development. They have evolved quickly: the first car with an internal combustion engine was produced in 1884, and by 2030, many cars will be autonomous hybrid vehicles.

As automotive technology progressed, auto claims evolved in parallel. Although the number of traffic accidents decreased, technical problems with major repair costs are common. As such, the role of the automotive loss adjuster has changed accordingly.

Thanks to their professional experiences in auto sales, manufacturing, and mechanical repair shops, our auto experts have in-depth understanding of the industry. Specialising in public liability, they step in to represent all automotive professionals.

I have always been interested in cars and automotive mechanics, and decided to work in the field at an early age. After taking part in technical training, I became a state-certified automotive loss adjuster. I then worked for a firm specialising in mechanical breakdowns, legal protection, and automotive liability.
I've been a loss adjuster at GM Consultant since 2016, and specialise in public liability for automotive professionals and vehicles in general. I handle claims in the north-west of France with patience and attention to detail.
In my spare time I restore old cars and take part in various motor sports.

Emmanuel LATHUILIERE

I started out as an auto mechanic and began working as a damage surveyor in 2003. During the 8 years I spent working at a family-owned firm in Savoie, I gained experience in managing collision damage, legal protection and public liability cases. After spending some time in short- and long-term rental damage surveying, I was curious and wanted to learn something new each day. So, I joined GM Consultant’s Rhône-Alpes team in 2016 as an auto expert, to connect with our core business, technical damage surveying. I have a passion for nature and the mountains, and escape to the outdoors whenever I have time.
